Import from YouTube

Last Updated: February 11, 2026

YouTube cooking tutorials are great, but pausing every 5 seconds to write down steps is painful. Let CookEase transcribe the video for you.

How to Import

  1. Get the URL: On the YouTube app or website, tap Share and select Copy Link.
  2. Go to CookEase: Navigate to your Dashboard and open the Quick Add tool.
  3. Paste: Drop the link into the Web Link field and hit Import.

What happens next?

Our system pulls the video transcript and description. It filters out the "Like and Subscribe" chatter and formats the actual cooking steps into a clean list.
