Ingredients

  • 150gButter(melted)
  • 200gSugar
  • 2largeEggs
  • 90gFlour(sifted)
  • 40gUnsweetened cocoa powder(sifted)
  • 1tspVanilla Extract
  • pinchSalt

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat your oven to 175°C/ 350°F (conventional oven).
  2. 2 Melt the butter and let it cool slightly for a few minutes.
  3. 3 Mix the eggs and sugar for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  4. 4 Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the egg mixture.
  5. 5 Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then gently mix until just combined.
  6. 6 Pour the batter into a parchment-lined cake pan.
  7. 7 Bake for 15-20 minutes. The edges should be set, but the center should still be very jiggly.
  8. 8 Let it cool for at least 30 minutes before removing it from the pan.
