- 2pieceThick-cut Sirloin Steaks
- 1tbspShan Fried Chops/steak Seasoning
- 1tbspCajun Seasoning
- 1tbspLemon Pepper Seasoning
- 1tspMustard
- 1tbspFull-fat Mayonnaise
- drizzleOil(estimated)
- 2tbspButter(for basting)
- ¼cupNando's Peri-peri Saka Sauce(for glazing)
- to tasteChilli Flakes(extra, for serving)
- to tasteParsley(chopped, for serving)
Instructions
- 1 In a small bowl, mix the Shan seasoning, Cajun seasoning, lemon pepper, mustard, mayonnaise and a drizzle of oil into a thick paste.
- 2 Coat the steaks all over with the paste and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
- 3 Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat and melt the butter.
- 4 Add the steaks and cook for about 6 minutes on each side for a thick steak, spooning the butter over as they cook.
- 5 Pour the Peri-Peri Saka sauce into a small bowl and stir in the chilli flakes.
- 6 In the last minute of cooking, brush the sauce all over the steaks in the pan so it glazes.
- 7 Rest the steaks for 5 minutes before slicing.
- 8 Scatter over chilli flakes and parsley, and serve.
